Announcing WooCommerce to Routific integration: From checkout to optimized routes, automatically

Today we're excited to launch two new integrations at once, and this is the first one: WooCommerce to Routific. If you plan your deliveries with Routific, your WooCommerce orders now land in your Routific workspace automatically, with the right delivery date, time window and service time, and the delivery status flows back into WooCommerce when your drivers are done.

What is Routific?

Routific is a route planning and optimization platform built for local delivery businesses, from grocery and meal-kit companies to florists and wholesalers. Dispatchers use it to turn a list of orders into efficient routes in seconds, respecting time windows, vehicle capacity and driver shifts, and drivers follow those routes in the Routific driver app.

Until now, Routific users running a WooCommerce store usually exported orders to a spreadsheet and uploaded them every day. That changes today.

What the integration does

The WooCommerce to Routific integration is built on the official Routific Platform API and works like our other FleetConnector integrations, with a few features made specifically for route planning:

• Automatic order sync: paid WooCommerce orders appear in your Routific workspace, ready to be optimized
• Delivery dates & time windows: the date and time slot your customer picked at checkout become the Routific delivery date and time window
• Realistic planning: service time per stop, load (items or weight) and tags are sent along
• Status back in WooCommerce: signed Routific webhooks mark orders as delivered or missed and store the driver, stop number, ETA and tracking link
• Bulk dispatch & manual retry: send many orders at once and retry failed ones from your dashboard
• WordPress native: install directly in your WordPress admin, no Zapier or external tools needed

How it fits your Routific workflow

A customer places an order and picks a delivery date and time slot at checkout. As soon as the order is paid, FleetConnector sends it to Routific in the background, so your checkout stays fast. The order shows up in your Routific workspace on the chosen delivery date.

Your dispatcher optimizes and publishes the routes in Routific, exactly like before. When a route is published, FleetConnector saves the driver, stop number and estimated arrival time on the WooCommerce order and can email your customer the Routific tracking link. When the driver completes or misses a delivery, the WooCommerce order is updated automatically, for example to "Completed" so your customer receives the familiar WooCommerce email.

Getting started

You'll need an active Routific account to use this integration. Once that's in place, setting up the WooCommerce to Routific integration takes about 10 minutes:

1. Purchase the WooCommerce to Routific plugin
2. Upload it to your WordPress site and activate your license
3. Create an API token in Routific (Company Settings → Integrations) and paste it in the plugin settings
4. Load and select your Routific workspace
5. Optional: add the webhook URL in Routific to get delivery status back in WooCommerce
6. Test with a sample order
